TheraSim is committed to providing simulation-based training technology to developing world physicians, nurses and health officers. Many developing countries suffer from a dearth of physicians and other clinical professionals and are grappling with a global HIV epidemic that is stressing the social and economic fabric of society. TheraSim provides a local, continuous clinical training environment that is patient-based, self-paced and measurable. Currently, most of the country of Ethiopia has access to simulation training technology in more than 80 hospitals, clinics and universities from the Sudan to Somalia. We look forward to expanding our footprint to other countries in need of simulation-based medical training technology.
