TheraSim Health Tracks is a competency assessment and improvement system that provides the management infrastructure for TheraSim CS simulations. Health Tracks organizes simulations and didactic information into comprehensive assessment and learning tracks which provide an accelerated distance learning environment for a variety of therapeutic areas such as HIV, diabetes and cardiology.

Health Tracks Health Tracks enables the definition of clinical performance measures (also known as skills, competencies or performance metrics). These performance measures, or metrics, can then be associated with cases, rules and didactic content to;

Measure clinician behavior based on individual performance in simulation.
Detect skill gaps against various measure sets (P4P, trial protocol, guidelines, etc.)
Remediate skill gaps through E-Mentoring.

The Health Tracks E-Mentoring system uses a combination of pre- and post- test case simulations to measure skill gaps and then remediates skill deficiencies through “open book” simulations where the TheraSim Clinical Guidance feature provides clinician users with instant analysis and response to their diagnosis and therapy decisions for the patient case. Every clinical decision that user makes is analyzed by TheraSim CR against a knowledgebase of pharmacology, guidelines, expert consensus, drug interactions, safe and effective dosing and other data. With each decision, TheraSim CR conducts hundreds of thousands of operations to determine the extent to which the clinician users treatment path deviates from best practices. TheraSim CS expresses the treatment path analysis from TheraSim CR in the form of Clinical Guidance. This is like an e-mentor that guides the user through the diagnoses and treatment of the patient. Every time the clinician makes a decision about a patient, the Clinical Guidance feature provides instant medical feedback.

This is the ‘My TheraSim’ page, the starting page for all clinician users of TheraSim Health Tracks. This page displays messages, a featured case and all available TheraSim Health Tracks. The clinician also has access to the ‘Resources’ section from here.

This is the compentecy management page. Here all competencies, organized into modules, are displayed as well as which modules are passed and which ones are in 'Learning' mode.

This is the TheraSim Health Tracks 'Learning' page. The clinician can review guideline and other resources for the required competencies by clicking on 'Learning Links'. They can also try the practice case, where the TheraSim Clinical Guidance feature will help the clinician through the diagnosis and treatment process. Once they have mastered the required competencies, they can take the 'Post Test' to change the state of that modules to 'Passed'. Once all the modules in a TheraSim Health Track are passed, any certification and CME are issued.

TheraSim Health Tracks uses the TheraSim CS - Clinical Simulator, to assess the clinical skills and competencies in a quantitative and clinically accurate fashion.

TheraSim Health Tracks provides a huge database of clinical resources to assist the clinical in diagnosing and treating the patient. These resources include drug prescribing information and guidelines.
